all powerful peppermints

18 years ago 0 87 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi all! Some time earlier in the week I read a posting that recomended eating a peppermint after meals and whenever one wanted a cig...this is the best tool I have going for me right now (besides my will power!). These peppermints really do the trick because sucking on them is similar to inhailing in the sense tha your mouth muscles do much of the same movement and you get a little bit of a bite in the back of the mouth, like a cig. I just wanted to point this out because I believe that this would be especially useful for those who are quitting menthol cigs. Good luck and Godspeed Kat My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/24/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 191 Amount Saved: $45 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 15 Mins: 8 Seconds: 33

I just polished off yet ANOTHER bag of Red Hots, I may have to switch to something sugar free before I have dentist woes!!! Keep up the terrific work Kat. Nine days is fabulous. Kat, First...way to go on 9 days quit...most excellent! I read Lady's post on the peppermints too..THANK YOU LADY!!! I have peppermints everywhere now. Each room has a stash, including the bathroom. My car has them as well as Altoids. Hard candy, sugarless or no, has to be one of the best tools I use to keep my quit craves manageable.
