detox tea...

I don't know if this is helpful...and anyone interested in this, they should consult with their doctor as herbs can interact with medications...but I drank schizandra tea for the first five days- it's reputed to help with the anxiety and help remove the nicotine. The night of day 3 and 4- I used a skullcap tincture to be able to sleep through the night (historically used for barbituate and drug withdrawl) It has been an intense ride, but I am so comfortable as a non-smoker now that I can sit and have coffee with my friends, while they are smoking, and not be tempted or bothered. Could be that it was just the right time for me...

[font=Comic Sans MS] Hey onfire13! Detox tea..and the skullcap both sound great. You sound like you really have it together to quit! It is great to see positiveness.. it is really a key to success.. and the conversing here becomes a big part too. BTW.. when you post.. click in the box at the bottom of the screen that says.. "Show my Quit Meter" .. so we can track what day you are on.. :) You sound like you are doing great.. hell week is over today for you I think.. hardest part over.. remember to continue that image of yourself.. you are a nonsmoker !! A Winner !!
