Any way to get rid of nagging headache last 2 days?? Can't get in to the doctor until Fri 5-5. In the meanwhile looking for anything to help. Aspirin or Ibuprofen sure don't seem to help. Only time I don't feel it is when I'm sleeping, but even the last two nights have slept like crap,so I don't know if that has anything to do with it either. Took the Tylenol PM last night and had the best night of sleep in about 3 days. Just got into work, 1 bottle of water down. Now I have to have my morning coffee, then it's back to the water. If headache starts again I brought some aleve in to help get through the day. Thanks for all the concerns, I will keep u posted. If not later today, then tomorrow after doc's Rekud My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 280 Amount Saved: $37.8 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 9 Mins: 20 Seconds: 38

Cyberduke and Cobenfan, I have been drinking 3 to 4 bottles of water while at work easily in the 8 to 10 hour day. I feel like I drink anymore I will drown. Going to the doctor either way, 1) to have the headache checked out and 2) get clearance from him to start going to the gym. Started walking but want to start biking and running. I appreciate all the input every one has and will put what I can to use and see what works. I will update on Fri after I get back from doc's and see what he has to say. Thank You. PS. The good thing is even with the headaches and all, still didn't want to smoke. Update on the headache. Went to Doc's yesterday. Excedrin Migrane or perhaps tylenol PM. Early in my quit I took the tylenol PM before bed. Helped the headache and helped me sleep too. Warm wash cloth across the eyes. Deep breathes. Drink a lot of water. Lay down.. try to clear your mind. Silence.. I get migranes a lot... does it show? Hope something here helps. Water, water and more water. Headache can a sign of dehydration. There's a reason they say drink a lot of water when you're quitting. Try keeping a jug of water around and sip on it all day long. Drink as much of the stuff as you can (without drowning) and see if that helps the headache. It did it for me at the early stages of my quit. Good luck and stay strong.
