Food Cravings

19 years ago 0 154 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Any one else crave a specific type of food? Right now I am craving french fries everyday. Sounds weird, but it would be interesting to see if any one else has a craving like this. I know fries aren't the healthiest food of choice, but it beats cigarettes. Hello Rekud I know the food cravings. I get them for chocolate. I decided this time around that I would have to replace chocolate. Last time around I gained 30 pounds from letting myself eat whatever I wanted during the first 4-6 weeks, most of the worst was chocolate. So I replaced chocolate with roasted almonds or jelly beans. It has been okay and I have noticed that the food cravings move around to different taste groups. This time I also started a physical regime before I quit, I swim 5-6 hours per week. This time around I have lost a little weight and inches off my waist. I attribute it to not eating the chocolate and working out. Hope this helps My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 40 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 807 Amount Saved: $300 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 13 Mins: 53 Seconds: 51

Hi rekud, I wish there was only one food I was craving, but unfortunately in the beginning I was craving everything!! :) I called it smoking my food. lol. rekud, Indulge once in a while and make this a reward for yourself! Stick with the low calorie foods and drink lots of water to help :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
