HOLD ON!!!! I hear about this period in the quit and I am not looking forward to it! It is just strange that cravings would hit this far into the quit but this is a strange addiction. Look at the hold it has on us, even 3 months after we quit! I know you can get past this!! A non-smoker! Hi I am on day 84 in my quit and out of the blue I got hit with such intense cravings that I don't know if I will make it through. Smoking is the only thing that is on my mind since yesterday. I went to bed wishing to smoke and I got up wishing to smoke. No, not wishing, madly wanting to smoke. Now I am at work and I am dying for a cigarette. What is it? Why now? I had cravings before, but nothing like this. Is this a "special" time that is difficult for a lot of quitters? Thanks for listening. My fellow Shamrock, Please remember that this will pass. It is just Nics way of letting us know that he is still around. Do not invite him in!! You have 83 beautiful non-smoking days under your belt. I know you don't want to lose them. Re-read your plan. Make a new one. Get those tools out ~ remember why you wanted to quit in the first place. And keep remembering. Also, remember to breathe. And lastly, go for a nice reward. Be kind to yourself. Take care and take it easy for a few days!! Please keep us posted! ;) 4my2girls What Consumes Your Thoughts Controls Your Life My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 88 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,653 Amount Saved: $287.76 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 2 Mins: 46 Seconds: 20

Alexa, Yes, this mark is often a tough one, but nothing you can't handle. It'll go away soon... if you have to, just use the coping techniques you used during Hell Week, and it will pass. This is sort of like the nicodemon's last stand for a while, so take comfort in the fact that true freedom is right around the corner. Stay strong and you can and will make it! Crave the Quit! Ah, yes. The 100-day thing that everyone goes through and so much is talked about. It actually hits somewhere between 80 - 120 days, lasts about 3 - 4 days and is over. I spent 3 nights curled up on the couch somewhere betweeen days 85 - 89. It's often as bad as hell week, but it is temporary. Hang on to that thought and get through it. :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 374 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,488 Amount Saved: $1421.2 Life Gained: Days: 69 Hrs: 19 Mins: 7 Seconds: 26
