I am so glad someone is talking about this.I never had so many farts and smell so bad.I also have a bad taste in my mouth and in my nose. I'm sure this is becaue I smoked 47 years. Yippee, Success!! 4 days is great Chico! Keep going, you can do this. The tools on the left, over there... more pointing... really are very helpful. Please try them out, it gives lots of good coping advice for the times when you get the crazies. Yup very common on these boards. I used to say too bad I couldn't bottle mine since "gas" is so expensive these days

I have been smoke free for 34 days and I have the same problem. I hope it doesn't last forever. I think its a way for our bodies to rid of all the toxins.

Au contraire! We love to talk about it! Some of the funniest threads on the site are about this very topic. Yes, it will go away, but let me tell you that if you start a walking program, you will have increased speed as you sputter and poot around the block! :p It is from all those nasty chemicals leaving your body. Be proud!!!
