I am quitting smoking for the fourth time in 8 years. My current record was my last attempt, when I went cold turkey in 2001. I last 32 days before I had a cigarette. I hope this website will help me in my efforts to be smoke free. I think I am going to use the patch to help with cravings in the first few weeks, does anyone know which patch is good or have any success stories with the patch? vee, I'm on day 30 with the patch, It has been so much easier than i thought, I work in a office where everyone smokes and for the first week I chewed alot of cinnamon sticks, did the breathing excerises, drank water, I get on the net when I get to feeling down. Last weekend i attended the ky derby and alot of people where smoking. and i ate. The patches seemed to make me a little tired and had trouble withh constipation for the 1 st week. Good luck I've sdmoked for 29 years if I can do it you can. Welcome Vee! I am sorry, I do not have any advice on the patch. But hang around. Someone will be here shortly. There are many people here who have used the patch. I just wanted to add that it is important that you complete the tools to the left. They will certainly aid in your sucess. They help you create tools to fight off cravings, as well as many other things! Since you mentioned that in your post, I thought I would add. Those tools will only benefit you!!! Take care, and Welcome here!!
