Get through right now. Get through today. Forget last night. Don't worry about your other quits. Don't worry about other people's quits. All you have to do is right now. For me, days 10 and 11 were the worst. And they were Christmas, so you can imagine how my husband felt!
NO! NO! You will not have days like this the rest of your life! Who told you that? It's the addiction talking into your ear. Let it go out the other ear. As Josie says, pamper yourself, take a bubble bath, drink some nice hot tea, put on your jammies, play some nice music.
Day by day, you will be farther away from where you started this quit. Not every day will be good -- that was true when you were a smoker, too. But things will get better!
