JessieMarie, The decision to quit smoking in itself is such a huge step in the right direction. It is important when deciding to quit, that we quit for the right reasons and that we truly feel we are ready to quit smoking. Honesty with one self is key to a successful quit. Be true to yourself and your endeavor to quit smoking and you will successfully succeed. If you have not, please take advantage of our free quit program as you access your glove compartment when logging on to our site. This program will help you through each step of the quitting process. Remember the SSC Support Team is always here to help you with your quit. Please keep us posted. Take Care, Melanie _____________________ The SSC Support Team

Wow!! I truly did find the place for support. Thank you for making me feel so welcome. I went to work today smiling because of these posts. I am surprised how well I am doing. I tried quitting once or twice before but I never made it past a few days. Thank you again for the support. I will update again soon.

Hi. I am a 31 year old woman who has smoked for over 10 years. I decided to quit when I realized how important my health was to me. I am currently using the patch to help me stop smoking. I have been smoke-free for two weeks and one day. I am glad to have found this website. I am hoping to find the support I need.

CONGRATULATIONS JESSIEMARIE!!!!!!!!!! You have passed what is probably the hardest part of this journey. However, we all know it is not an easy way to go and the SSC is the place to be for encouragement and help. I used the patches and felt they helped me a lot. Just don't quit using them because you think you have won the battle. Use strictly as directed (if not longer). And remember, not one puff ever, N.O.P. E. and you'll do just fine.
