catin, Welcome to the site and congratulations on becoming an ex-smoker! It is great to hear that you are ready to quit! The question is are you prepared? Please take advantage of our free Online Treatment Program in your glove compartment as you log into our site. This program will first help you determine if youre ready to quit. If youve already quit and are looking for some help, this program is for you. Although the program will first assess if youre ready to quit the exercises at the beginning of the program will help remind you of the reasons why you quit in the first place. Dont get frustrated - ex-smokers have told us that the exercises at the beginning of the program gave them confidence and helped them reaffirm their personal commitment to remain smoke free. The exercises in this program are divided into six major milestones. Think of each milestone as a destination youre trying to reach. After you complete the exercises in each milestone, your car will progress along the road map located at the bottom left-hand side of the screen. The best thing about this program is that it is free and you dont have to purchase any products to use this program. We hope that we have guided you in the right direction today! Please feel free to contact our support department in our feedback section found at the bottom of this page if you continue to have any questions or concerns. Or, please continue to join us here at our online support group! We wish you all the best and look forward to helping you achieve your goals! Welcome Catindublin! I never thought that I would be an ex-smoker. I remember the day before I quit and saying to myself there is no way that this is going to help me. I felt like needed someone to hold my hand. I was scared and felt hopeless. I knew that it meant having to change my whole life around, and I did not know if I could do it. I set the date, took the leap and here I am. I am now enjoying the changes that have taken place in my life. I am a lot more active than I have ever been. I can say that it hasnt been easy, but it has been one of the best things that I have done for myself. I have also gained a sense of respect that I never experienced before. My friends and family are all very proud of me. I highly recommend reaching out to everyone here because it has made a BIG difference in my life and I know it can in yours!

sorry... computer lost its mind... and not be bothered by cravings.. The money you will save.. and not worrying about getting to the store and that whole hassle. People will no longer look at you as if you are some alien from another planet (the you horrible terrible person who smokes look) Your will breath better in no time at all.. and if you need to take off in a sprint for any reason, you will be able to. Your children will not have to become a part of your smoking world. Your cahnce of serious lung diseases will drop through the floor at your age especially. You can always be that person who quit early and hopefully was not terribly effected b y smoking at all. (Claim that credit you deserve it)... wish I'd quit earlier... etc., etc., etc. Be positive.. this is going to be a great change for you.. Hang Tuff ! Welcome Ms. Cat You sound like you really have thins going for you (boyfriend being an x smoker) and the past experience of 2 month quit. I think you are going to breeze through this.. well not breeze.. but it will be tolerable for you. You sound positive and that is such a big part of quitting. Just keep thinking of all the great things you have to look forward to. Being able to tell everyone.. I quit smoking !!! Having clean clothes that don't smell like cigarettes. Getting that great-smelling shampoo knowing the smell won't be covered by smoke. Your hands will smell like hands again and not like an ashtray. You will be able to sit through long movies and not be bothered by

Hi Cat and congratulations on your decision - this is definitely the place to be as a quitter - it has helped me so much, especially in the early days - try to check in as much as possible. Welcome CatinD, I'm glad to hear you have decided to try again. This place is great. Look at my stats, I smoked for around 22 yrs, a pack everyday. It was hard, but I am so proud of where I am now. This site is a large part of that success. You CAN do it too! We look forward to getting to know another quitter.
