Yep, still crave-free and smoke-free. And it gets BETTER - today my boyfriend - in a total admiration for my 12 days smoke-free - decided to quit smoking as well - YUPPYYYY!!!
About your replies above - well, I wouldn't say I was not an addict... or maybe it was only in my mind, well, like I was supposed to be angry and nasty without a smoke. I was more like a boredom smoker, after all. I only needed cigarettes when bored beyond relief. But lately I found something to do with my fingers and my mind at the moments when boredom strikes me - I have bought myself a tiny little nice plastic poney and I play with it every time I feel bored and I make up (silently, in my mind) children's stories with the poney (his name is Glitter, by the way :) ). When I get the chance I write the stories down and make nice drawings for each one - I intend to publish a book for kids this way :)
I guess that's why I simply forget about cigarettes. I don't get the chance to get bored anymore. Yesterday I forgot to enter the site. Today I remembered to enter the site because a friend asked me how was my quit and I asked her like: "My what?... Oh, my quit. Well, It's going well, thank you. Smoke-free :)".
It's so good to be a nonsmoker, why would I ever again crave for those stinkies? It's been enough tribute, 2 packs a day for 12 years, am I right or not? Damn' I set a WHOLE CAR on fire during these 12 years, and didn't even have the chance to drive it (I mean 9000 Euros, almost 10000 US Dollars). So I guess I've paid enough. Not anymore, thank you :) I'll keep on writing kids' stories about Glitter the shiny poney and maybe earn some money from them :p And even if only my child will read my stories, it's much healthier than smoking, right?
When the book will be ready (6 months smoke-free written stories) I'll make a PDF and put it online and post a link to it :) so that you guys can read it to your kids ;)
