congrats on day 3. I too am tired of putting my family through the roller coaster. Our quits are hard on us, but harder on the people we love (sometimes). Just a suggestion, maybe your prayers shouldn't be for god to take remove this obsession...he didn't put it there...but rather for him to give you the strength you need to remove it yourself.
Mrs P you are so right, not one cig and not even one puff - thats the way to do it.

Mrs. Payfer,
WE ARE WORTH IT!!! Breathing easier, freedom from a nasty addiction, and a healthier life are our payoffs. N.O.P.E. I'm not a DOPE!

Hi Mrs Payfer
How are you doing
Cuddles
It's better to be a non smoker with an occastional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit......

Hi all.........thanks for the welcome back. I knew you would all be here waiting for me and I am grateful.
Day 3 - didn't sleep very good. Oh well, I will try again tonight. Did not want to get up, was dreaming about smoking. That did not happen last time. That nicodemon sure will try anything, huh? Thank God for my supportive husband, although last night he said he would give me 2 weeks to get over this and I'd better keep quit this time because he doesn't want to have to go through all the emotional bs again. On the one hand I was mad, but on the other hand he is right. I need to be done and I keep praying for God to remove the obsession.
The only good thing about relapsing is that now I know that I can't have "just one". I was right back to where I was in my smoking in a matter of days.
Again, glad you are all here.
NOPE!
Mrs. P
