well so far I have one phone call after another that helps, talking to my family and friends in europe get's my mind of things, I can not for personal reason leave my home whenever I want, my work keeps me here most of the time...but I am doing better right now, this is not a a one day at a time thing instead it's a minute at a time,I am glad I have found this group, reading how others cope with moments like this helps a lot, perhaps by posting my message here I can help someone else

Nana: I am sorry to hear of your loss. Stay strong and come here to let your emotions out. Getting a pack of smokes will only make you feel worse. There is no comfort in smoking only self-deciet.(sp) Kaiser My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 64 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,582 Amount Saved: $640 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 5 Mins: 39 Seconds: 40

abletobreath Today will really be a test for me. I am fighting myself right now not to get in the car and go to the store for a pack of cigs. It will be 60 days if I make it to tomorrow, but it has been exactly one year ago today that my son died. I am reading the posts and thinking of how to get through today smokefree. Wish me luck
