Hey Cheryl! Welcome back!!! How was your trip?!?! Besides the 100 degree heat and the close proximity. :8o: Where did you go? Duffis, it's good to see you checking in with us younger folks. We just have to get the party started early to send Lady and Cheryl off to the VIP club. I know we have a few weeks still, but we should start planning early. Any ideas for a good party theme? Hey everybody! I'm here! REALLY busy with finals lately, but I took my last 2 today, so things SHOULD lighten up soon (I hope!) But, with my 3 jobs, summer school starting and everything else, I predict a very busy summer ahead of me. But, I'm still here and still smoke free! Wouldn't dream of smoking! Hope you all are doing OK too! Crave the Quit! Hi All, I am back from Vacation, wow what a trip. 4000 miles in 10 days with my husband 24/7 in 100+ degree weather, and not a smoke one! Y E S ! ! ! Ok, I am ready to start planning that party, but before I do, I want to let all of you know that RedRosie is back and in the introduce yourself forum looking for all the smobers from last year who might remember her. She is 3 weeks off smokes and has a great story to tell so check her out and give some encouragement when you can. Be checking with all tomorrow. Night. My Oh My, I has been a while since I have popped in here. I can see that most of us are making new lives and are getting out of the habit of stopping in every day. In a way that is sad, but I think that it is good also. For it means that we are setteling into our new lives and being more comfortable. We stop into support others but It does not mean the same. And that is the way it's meant to go. Everyone progressing. Hey Lady, Maybe some of them are getting to old to make it all the way over here from the main forum. We need to go find a fountain of youth...wasn't there someone headed to Florida? Maybe they came acrossed it while there. Look at this great bunch of busy people. All atleast 6 months, and many (including us)heading for one year. This has been a strange journey that we have been on. The first couple of weeks, it was all panick and what if, and Oh Help! Then it settled down to I can do this most of the time and still have time to have a life of my own. And now we have replaced old habits with new healthier ones, just in time for sunshine, and beach and gardening, and camping, and fireworks! What a year! I'm glad that I stuck with it. And I am glad that you and all the great folks here were always there when I needed someone. Having trouble reading, eyes are all blurry from allergies. Been spending to much time in the green house. Can't help it though, all those baby seeds need sung to, and the cat comes in with me and purrs to them. So they should be off to a good growth start. Turned over the garden today and put in 4 of thirty fence post. I will keep those deer out of the garden this year if I have to sit up all night. So much yard stuff to do this time of year. I need to hire me some boys.. if I could only find some that work cheap. I am to old for all this heavy stuff. Planted 4 new fruit trees to go with the cherry trees and the apple. Burned all the slash piles, and pine needles and cones. Haven't been geting any structured exercise in, but I don't think I have enough energy for another thing. ALmost 300, no wonder I feel so old. I'm comming, but I am having trouble getting this dress through the door. At least if it was a hooped skirt it would float on its own, but I have to keep muscling this train thing with all the petticoats underneath it, as if I needed to be any wider. I did manage to get the lama parked over by the fence. That way he won't spit on anyone. ANd the castinetts come in handy for applause. I expect to be doing that alot for the band. Haven't heard them yet, but I have been told they are great. Hey Luna, while I was looking for this dress, I came across a couple of pics of gouchos in their cute black Zorro hats. I did invite them to come by, but I lost their address, so I can't go get them. Maybe they will show up anyway. Where is the party????? I don't see to many people yet! Well, it is early on Friday.... I can wait awhile. Cheryl

Alright! I just found my Carmen Moranda outfit, had to let the seams out a little, but I will be ready to go shortly. Looking in this great trunk for my moraccas, and sandles. Went by the mexican resturant after they closed last night and "borrowed" their outdoor lights. They look like little chili peppers, and am going to find a tall person to hook them to the outdoor shelter for me. Borrowed a Sombrero and one of those little donkey's that carry the flower pots around in their packs. Planted a bunch of poppies in the containers among the long green leaves. Looking for a Mariachi Band (anybody know where to get one?) Hey Lady, do you know where we can get one of those hats with all the fruit on them? I'm thinking that Luna will look great in one. Had all the chair cushions recovered in lime green, purple, and orange. And planning a great menue. Now I need a cook...ummm... maybe back on the beach?... or maybe in the villas? Center piece for the tables... A large conch shell filled with ugly fruit, kiwi, and pommagranets, maybe stick in a bird of paradise flower or two. Or maybe some orchids in another one. Sweetpea, Hummy, can you help me find some pics for this party? I don't know how to do them, but you always seem to get some great ones. Those two guys behind the waterfall are getting old, Silver maybe you could find a couple of new ones for Luna's party?!! OK, I have some more thinking to do...need to finnish this party, and then I hear that my friend is graduating in just about three weeks... got to plan a major blowout for that one....ummmm...now let eme see....
