Lady I'm here for ya. Just got home and saw your post. Now listen here. You hang in there. You are doing such a great job and you are always so supportive of everyone here. You know I too have wondered sometimes what it would feel like to just go out and have one smoke. The problem for me is that I don't want to start all over again. I'm just too lazy and scared to have to reset that meter. I truly think if I ever do start again that will be it for me. It took me many many years to even try and quit so I don't think I'd ever get that kind of nerve or strength again. You are doing this quit thing. Hang on!!! vicki just 1 puff away from 2 packs a day My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 86 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,457 Amount Saved: $602 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 18 Mins: 6 Seconds: 13

Lady, sorry you too are having such a difficult week. My favorite saying is...."This too shall pass". And it usually does. If it doesn't, then recite the serenity prayer and remember there are things you can influence and change, and those you can't. Focus your energies on those you can. Finally, my last favorite saying..."Everything happens for a reason. It is not necessary that we know why". Take my hand and together we will get through life's rough spots. Hi There Lady: Sorry your having a rough time. I am also. It's been one hell of a start to the New Year. My pooch needed surgery to have a hernia repair and also a fatty tumor removal ($850) on my credit card, then my daughters car craps out and needs ($750) for repairs, and we are helping her with her finances going back to school to be able to have a better job down the road. I hope it gets better after this. I've thought about lighting up so many times it's down right scary. But that wouldn't change anything I know that. Hang tough and grab my hand also.
