DAY 3!

18 years ago 0 23 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I have never made it this long on past quit attempts. I keep telling myself that I never want to experience these first days of withdrawl again.. so keep going! I was even able to visit a buddy last night that smokes like a chimney (i was nervous).. BUT I made it! I felt so good driving home afterward that I am strong enough to make this happen no matter what, along with the support of everyone on this site! Well done Matt - this really is a case of mind over matter. I still have craves and temptations but whatever is thrown at me I am determined not to smoke - at any cost. You must be really proud of yourself to have coped with this, I know I would have been. Hey Matt, read your post over again and notice just how proud and excited you sound. Won't it be great to feel that way about your quit everyday? It can and it will happen, as long as you keep going! You're doing great. You'll be at the end of Hell week before you know it. Keep Strong. Congratulations Matt! 3 days is AWESOME. That first week is the hardest. You can do it. Be careful going around people smoking. Protect your quit at all costs. The temptation can be a bit much and hit you at any time. Congratulations Again. You are doing GREAT!
