Ok, am I hallucinating?

18 years ago 0 19 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I totally saw spots, and when I went through the infamous "fog" my Computer screen not only blurred, but like pulled apart a bit, and then I saw the spots, and yes... I think I've been hallucinating a bit! If only I were still into that pyschedellic thing, it would be awesome, but at work, trying to get some stuff done, not the same!

You never know what will pop up. Most people don't know but when you watch a movie a letter Q will pop up on the top right corner I think every 20 minutes. That's what tells people where to put the commercials in. The reason I'm telling you this is because I never knew it was there until somebody told me it was there so now every so often I will see it if I'm thinking about it. Maybe because you expect something you are now seeing something that is very normal but you're not used to seeing it. Just a thought. Make sense? LOL 4...Oh man! Now I am really into spiritually good stuff but the little shadow things were bugging me a bit more than I really enjoy elaborating on LOL. I was like, OMG, they are following me now. LMBO. Thank GOD we have some marbles left, enough of them to decipher what is side affects and what is ghosty. LOL. Now, just wondering, are those marbles in our right minds or in our left brains? :p Good to see you up and about on the boards today!! Many Blessings, Eve :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 76 Amount Saved: $27 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 19 Mins: 11 Seconds: 34

LMBO Shevie. OMG how hysterical. Just the angels hangin' around me now, no more icky trolls LOL ;) Ok so to answer your ? No NRT's, went CT. That was how I did it last time too. And I remember the horror I faced back then, and it wasn't even 1/2 as bad this time around. Maybe because I smoked alot less or because it was additive free, who knows. Maybe I was just really done this time, so it became easier to quit having the desire to not smoke override the desire to smoke. I know there are quite a few contributing factors and why I absolutely know and feel I am going to succeed this time. But it is going to take time. I am looking forward to getting enough days under my sparkly clean belt to join a knight club, or something that they do in here. I have found this place to be so truly inspiring I can't help but have goals now in here as well as in my life :) Thanks for the advice and great laugh!!! I really enjoy reading your posts! I have been, what I thought was hallucinating, since I quit last Saturday...well, I thought it was just me seeing the little 'things' out of the corner of my eyes the first few days, and was reading about how I am going to see some pretty strange stuff and not to panic because my body is going through the toxin release. So I didn't panic and began adjusting. It has't really hasn't happenned all that often either, it's kind of when I get up to go do something or go from a light to a dim room or vice versa. So I hasn't bothered me at all. In fact I was kinda lookin forward to seeing leprachauns and faery. LOL. But, sitting at my computer here right now, I just saw 2 things that I saw with both eyes and not out of the corner like it was. Funny I have seen them before too but never paid attention to it, thought it was just my computer doing its' thing. And maybe it really is, but I suppose I need some solid evidence here about what it is I am seeing. I saw something pop up at the bottom right hand corner of the screen but it was unfamiliar. It was not a program I had running nor was it my connection or Norton or any of that stuff. It looks like a small shadow shape. Like a silhouette of a small pop-up window. I brushed it off. Then I continued typing and saw the silhouette act like an actual 'window' that was on my screen and minimized itself, but I only had this window open. I am really seeing weird stuff. These little silhouettes are the same ones that are going past me when I am on the way to the living room or something, but thy are oval or long shaped, not square like on the computer. Maybe I am spending too much time on the computer and the screen is affecting my eyes + the withdrawl of toxins, a combination perhaps? Can anyone tell me what is happening to me, or my eyes, and has anyone experienced anything like this? Thanks for listening and understanding. Many Blessings, Eve :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 71 Amount Saved: $24 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 17 Mins: 52 Seconds: 15

Rusty you're probably right, thanks for the good suggestions. I have actually been craving some of that yummy celestial seasons decaf tea, so you are onto something there. You can write a prescriptuon for me to check in with myself ;) Duckie I am giving it another week and if it hasn't tapered off I'm going to get my eyes checked out. I do alot of computer work too during the week so it may not be helping with the detox. Milaya wow, I never knew that about the movie thing. *wonders if that is the Q from Star Trek that is appearing, perhaps it is his new job now that the series ended* :p I will have to check that out, but I agree-once you know about something you start to notice it. Like if I wasn't aware that I was breathing and someone said, Hey Dummy, You're breathing! Then I would notice it. Like now that I am not smoking, it's like someone clobbered me and say HEY YOU ARE BREATHING AGAIN, and that's sort of when I remember to breathe deely. Sounds silly, but I think I am a little whacked from all the smoke all these years. I know last time I quit I know it was not "proper". I had absolutely NO support; it was basically between me and God and I was able to kick it for 4 years. Now I realize what I had missed back then and why I went through what I did. Last time I was also doing it for everyone else but me. Now I am ONLY doing it for me! And I really am a naturally goofy fun kind of person, and I have always enjoyed making people laugh, now I am making myself laugh too and I am much happier that I can do it without hacking up any of my internal organs anymore. Thanks for all the advice. I'm going to keep checking in and reading up. Many Blessings, Eve :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 73 Amount Saved: $27 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 18 Mins: 20 Seconds: 55

Hi KC! I am at where you were once was...*insert wide eyes here* Did your brain fog feel like a hangover? Or perhaps you were on a merry go round, jsut spinning and getting dizzy or perhaps as if you had taken some pain meds, feel asleep and then woke up, feeling you were still on the pain meds? That is how I feel!!
