Hi Newbkr -
Welcome back! I'm so glad that today is better for you - although
running a big giant hand off the road probably wouldn't be in
your best interest! LOL
You're getting so much more oxygen in your system that it's going to
your brain! Yesterday was the dizziness, today it's nuttiness. I went
through the same thing when I quit in February. Dizzy as heck, then
silly as a loon.
You are choosing to live and live more healthy - I'm proud of you
for coming back here!

Right on
This is group therapy on line 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The therapy/couselling topic just happens to be quitting smoking and what happens to human beings as they do this.
We are totally entertwined.
Three cheers for being able to find a way that works and is effective and helps many to quit an egregious addiction! Three cheers for those who can even get to the point of coming to this site and those that post and work through the body mind spirit inorder to have a new and different life.
Welcome back!

Hey Newbkr,
Glad to see you've made it back. Your doing awesome!! Keep it up.. I am actually starting my journey again on June 8th. Random day but that's when I go to Lacoina and I figured you can't smoke on the bikes so why not quit then.. :)
Newbkr,
I am very glad to see you back. I am so sorry for your loss.
Best wishes and we'll see you around.

Hi newbkr. I'm sorry to hear you've lost a loved one. That must have been a horrible event to get through. I'm sure you're still trying to work your way through the pain. You say.... "Part of healing emotionally is quitting -- can't do the emotional work if you're hiding behind a cloud of smoke." .... What true words. I'm glad to see you've quit again. Not much I can say that you don't already know, but Welcome back. redrosie :)

It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit......
