Hi delart, I'm assuming you are within your first few days?? Calm down, and take deep breaths. BREATHE IN .... HOLD IT .... BREATHE OUT BREATHE IN .... HOLD IT .... BREATHE OUT BREATHE IN .... HOLD IT .... BREATHE OUT BREATHE IN .... HOLD IT .... BREATHE OUT BREATHE IN .... HOLD IT .... BREATHE OUT Now, are you drinking water? If not, go get some immediatly. And start drinking away. Remember your reasons you quit. You can get through this. This is your body healing. Healing is a great thing!! Very big congratulations to you for coming here first. Stay here. I'm logging into the IM now if you need. Stay strong. Wait for others to reply too. Delart... Calm down. Take deep breaths like Redrosie said. Stand up and stretch. You can do this. Quitting isn't easy but going into a panic isn't going to help. Relax. Take it just 5 minutes at a time. Are you at work? Home? Take a little walk and get some water and just move around for a bit. Whatever you are doing right now that is making you feel this way, do something else. You are doing great. I'm not sure how far you are into your quit but it sounds like you are pretty early. Look around the site...we have all been where you are now and we survived. So can you. Take it easy. Also be sure to check the box below your posts that say "show my quit meter" That way we can better help you. Stay in control. You can do this! delart, How long have you been quit? Our bodies will react differently when we quit and this maybe a symptom. Keep yourself occupied and distract yourself. If this continues, please contact your doctor to rule out anything medical. Keep Strong, Josie ______________________ The SSC Support Team
