I didn't expected this at all! He just said that with a strict schedule of sport and other activities that I like and without asking to much from myself I should be ok.
Obviously I will have also some setbacks etc but I  should be able manage this periods.

Sheba,

It is such good news to hear that you do not need the meds anymore! You mentioned you are feeling confused, were you expecting your doctor to tell you this news?

Also, what kind of schedule does your doctor have you on?

Please continue to post and let us know how you are doing as you start to decrease your medication dosage. We are here for you!

Ok... I'm totally surprised! Doc just said that I'm not needeng meds anymore!
It was a rough visit. He practically made me a complete assesment. This time was him to ask and a lot... and not easy questions.
He said that I need to have a strict schedule and anyway we'll stay in touch.
so I think that this is good news! Still confused!!!

Sheba,

Rose has got a really valid point; they've probably heard it all before.

I encourage you to make a list of everything you would like to discuss with your doctor before you have your visit. Be open and honest and the doc will have a better chance of treating you properly.

sheba, it's self sabatoge! tell them the truth, the whole truth - they've heard it all before i bet. why not get 100% out of your visit, they are so few and far between. make a list of questions, that way you won't be flustered and you'll get your answers. good luck sheba you deserve it!

My main fear is that i tend to shut down and non to say all the things I should. It's a sort of self protection....
