Hey Wildcat,

Well that does sound awful! I do agree with Rose though, you do say what you have to say with humour and flair! As for taking that on, way to go, you are braver then me!

woman at work!

Hi gang,  I used to watch this couple on PBS renovate houses 10 years ago and think ah wow... I'll be able to do that !!! What a dummy I was.  No wonder people hired them to do this s@@@ work.  It is awful!

We thought one day to scratch the tiny half bathroom, one to paint with primer and one for reg paint!  well that mold that comes from hell every week was not from our shower but from the last layer of 30 years of paint on the ceiling!  and that old layer is in decomposition so we had to spend a day and a half peeling and plastering the f##### ceiling !!!

I had nasty thoughts for my father-in-law.  He who was so perfect... "we were 4 teens and 2 adults living here and never had a mold problem.  It is you who don't clean often enough. The water is too hot.  Open the window to air out the bathroom even in winter, just a bit."     Weelllll monsieur, your father did have mold and he hid it under lead based paint

The good thing.  I am seriously working the fear of hights on my ladder and not freaking out when the kids come close!
I am getting a work out!  Am I learning what colours were matched to the U-G-L-Y  50's pink tile in our bathroom! We are going to try Behr' valley mist.
