I get why you are unnerved by all this. Change can be scare. And boy you have had a lot of change! I completely get it, I have that reaction too even to positive change. Sometimes positive change is almost scarier because I am always afraid it wil be short lived. I find challenging my anxious thoughts about it really helps me. And then I just make sure to enjoy it!
Anyway, I think Brenna gave you great advice so I won't start repeating! Please let us know how it goes!
You've gone through quite a transition this summer. Change doesn't always take a long time!
Be honest with your psychologist at your appointment tonight. Let her know how your summer went and how you are feeling. She will be very impressed.
As for your finances, we suggest you go and speak to a bank or someone who can help you consolidate your payments. There are a lot of services, both free and paid, that can help people get their finances in order.
Can you believe the summer is two thirds over... and my gaggle of people are returning from their holidays.
My son has an appointment to review his attention defict meds on sept 4th.
but...
I have an appointment this evening with my psychologist . i have not seen her since june and then I was seeing her every two weeks b/c i was in a bad spot! So much has happened to me in a month and a half and I am a bit worried. There is my med. There is the psychiatist who thinks that i an not bipolar but borderline personality (emotion allergy). And me! me who is excited to go camping at the end of the month !!! for my wedding anniversary. Me who threw out three years of pay slips from my first job when I was 16! last week-end with no anxiety!!! Me who is enjoying evening with my children again and remembering what a husband is for - other than cooking supper .
It is kinda scary when I stop and think of it. I though I would have a bit more time... for this emotional transition
any advise???
oh by the way. any advise on how to get my finances back in order??? i really made a mess with three credit cards and a lot of neglect????
