Worried about what others said

Hi elevenoceans, I am quite new here and I am sure that there are other members who have good ideas for when you feel unhappy following your interactions with other people. I am looking for ideas too. I try telling myself that I am still a wothwhile person and that I did things the way I felt was right/did my best and that everyone is different. I try to think about my special qualities and what I bring to life that no-one else can. That is hard sometimes. Hope you are doing ok. Moth

Hi there i can relate with what youve said i take everything that everybody says to heart if someone disagrees with me or has a different opinion i think they dont like me and im not worthy i want to be able to NOT care what other people think of me as long as i am being the best person i can be.Try writing down your negative thoughts on a piece of paper then coming up with a positive to counteract it i have been doing that for a couple of months and i have found that its starting to help though it does take time because my brain is so used to just thinking negatively.Hope that helps.Gabbi.

Dear members, I have this problem in which I am worried about what others said to me, especially when something goes wrong. I tend to think in a negative way and all the time. I believe it is a major cause for my depression. Now I am learning to cope with this situations and trying to see things positively. I would love that you could give some ideas for when I deal with people that make me feel unhappy. Thanks for listening.
