106^oF?? That's intolerable. It's a beautiful early fall day here. Sunny and about 20^oC (sorry...don't know what that is in Fahrenheit). Hoping tonight is nice and clear so I can see the eclipse of the harvest moon (if I can stay up that late).

Davit, It's good to hear that you are still hanging in there. Me Too. We are still waiting for the temps to come down here where I live. It's been in the high 90's and reached 106 degrees last week. I've had a miserable week with a stomach ache, headache, malaise. Hope things get better. It could the stress I feel.

Very tired and very sore today. I cleaned my wood stove today with numerous rests and I'm glad since it is going to rain again. The hardest part is the stove pipe so I've decided to make a spare. Anyway it is done and good now for about two months. Longer if winter holds off. Another chore done. Next is turning my boat upside down and putting it back on the trailer for the winter. The only tough one left is putting chains on the tractor.

Thanks for responding CT. I wish I had your brain to pick, during the challenges of last year, as mom's health failed, since she had heart issues. Your input on this site is helpful. I'm getting a cable person to help on the weekend, although the connection seems fine. People like yourself and Davit make a real difference in our lives.

I had Windows 10 installed on my computer (upgrade from Windows 8). I didn't do it myself so can't comment on the process or ease of installation.

I wonder if anyone has downloaded windows 10? I have to migrate my favourites. Also, my day was slow, since I was feeling bad for 2 days, and then the cable connection has been poor.

Today started off with lots of pain so I gave in and took morphine. These are pretty small so when it wasn't enough I added Tylenol. Just a bad day that actually turned out okay even if it was still going at nine pm. Home support comes tomorrow. I want to make an apple pie. She will fold the laundry I did today. And I will get another load in before she gets here. I can't fold because I don't have that much grip in my hands. I don't need much help so an hour a week does it. It keeps the place from looking ragged and believe it or not just being tidy makes a big difference. I'll have to ask what things she can cook. They want her to batch cook but don't really give her enough time. It would be nice to try something different. I like Chinese but have never made it before.

Looks like we are going to get more rain. Still having a beautiful fall.

Feels like the infection is going. I have more energy at least. I probably should get another blood test.
