Hi bgaineshunter
What do you do to fend off a craving? Do you take a walk, drink water, or use self talk? I am asking because maybe we here at this site can offer up suggestions that will help you.
I see that you were a two pack a day person and you have a whopping 6 week quit. And you said after a quit of two years you still wanted to smoke?
Do you keep yourself busy and distracted?
I just wondered. I saw a picture on the web of a set of lungs that were nearly black. It made me really sick. How awful, I dont even want to think about it. How could I allow myself to smoke and what it must have done to my lungs. If you dont want to get shocked dont go looking for smokers lungs on the web.
Sweetheart
Can you please help. Strange, I had two real desires to smoke today. Doesn't happen often. I managed to break away. What can I do next time?
Hey PrincessC
I really, really liked your thread!
You have inspirational talents, are amazing, so very, very, mcuh to offer... and a pleasure to work with. I hope you are not having medical problems, please, please say NO. I dont know how to pickup anyones email addresse at the site.
Aw, PrincessC
Yes you are so right and I forgot that part. Keep putting off those smokes while you are in the reduce mode. Keep saying, I will smoke the next one. Yep you are so good! Proud of you PrincessC!
Keep on keeping on! You have it!
Hi Binky
I hope that helps. Go slow on the reduce part. It can be difficult. It take a lot of control but hey that is what you are going to need to quit and practice makes perfect. We all will be here with you.
