Isabella,
This is normal, you're heart rate is suppose to increase when you're working out. You're heart is a muscle and you are doing a good thing exercising it.
Treat this as you would any other trigger. Work at it slowly taking baby steps along the way. Consult a personal trainer or have your doctor refer you to a physiotherapist. He/she can give you some suggestion on low intensity exercises to get your started.
Keep us posted.

Debbi,
You've received some great advice from your fellow members. I can only echo:
* Keep in touch with your doctor or pharmacist and ask plenty of questions. Find out what side effects you can expect and how your doctor wants you to deal with them. Find out what should be a cause for concern.
* Keep working through the program. Beth' journal idea may also help you. Learn about your panic cycle and start to slowly regain your control.
You've experienced a relaspse and my heart goes out to you! Keep in mind that you were doing better and you'll get back there, just take it one baby step at a time.
Keep posting and let us know how you're doing.

Sue,
Although it may be frustrating, you can take comfort in knowing you have people around you who care about you.
Panic disorder, attacks in particular, are usually associated with feeling a loss of control. Maybe you try to compensate for those feelings by exherting control in other aspects of your life?
Keep working through the program and continue to add to the progress you've already made. Take it one baby step at a time and don't worry about what they say.
You don't owe anyone an explanation. You owe yourself time to learn how to control your anxiety.
Keep persevering,
Danielle

Slinky,
Thanks for checking in. As you can see you're not alone! Perhaps learning some relaxation exercises such as deep breathing, yoga or meditation would be helpful to you?
