Anxiety is starting to take over my life

Little_star, Welcome to the Panic Center and thanks for sharing your story with us! I can only echo what other members have said; talk to your doctor. He/she is the best authority to give you advice on this matter. It can be tricky to find the right medication for you but it is achievable. Ask questions! He/she can tell you all about side effects you may or may not experience and how long it will take to feel the full effects of your medication. Start working through our program. It will teach you about panic disorder and it's effects on you. Ask us questions and post often. We are here to help and support you throughout your journey. Keep us posted. Does Anyone Remember Me?

Debbi, Good job on getting to your appointment! I know it wasn't easy but you did it! You're making progress! Members, Knowledge is power. When prescribed a new medication, ask questions. Ask about potential side effects, what you should do if you experience these side effects and voice any other concerns. Feeling informed may help you overcome any fears you may have with starting a new medication. Danielle ________________________ The PC Support Team
