I too suffer from panic disorder and once had panic attacks pretty much nonstop for six days at one point. That's why I can sympathize with you and I know how scary and debilitating it can be. The good news is that it will get better. Just remember, the more you avoid those social situations the harder it is. In therapy, they teach to go out in the situations that bring on the panic attacks and learn to stay calm in those situations. I still get nauseated and dizzy sometimes but you learn to work through it. You will get better it may just take some time. How long have you been on the meds now?

hey everyone ! 2 years ago i was diagnosed with panic disorder. i was put on medication shortolyl after but only lasted a few months before i went off. in the last few months my boyfriend was severly injured. the doctor says i have post traumatic stress which has caused my panic disorder to come back full force. i went back on meds about 3 weeks ago after a "Break down" i call it. i had panic attacks non stop for 2 days straight. it was the worst experience ever. i'm currently visiting my friend in Paris France, which you think would be fun however it's no picnic. i'm constantly nauseous and i wont eat much. i avoid resturants(i did this at home for the last month as well) i dont like huge crowds, i get overwhelmed so easily that i just want to sleep and hang out in her apartment. i'm just starting to realise the serious effect these panic attacks are having on my life and it's making me so depressed. i'm starting this program and hopefully it will help ! anyone who wants to talk please feel free. thank :)
