Getting away with it all

Hello A,
Nice to meet you and welcome!

Looks like you are doing very good so far. I think Faryal gave you some very good tips
on how to stay quit.  For me, personally, I stayed away from smoking friends for a couple of weeks until
I felt confident in my quit.  You might be stronger than I was. Everybody just has to do it their own way.

Congratulations on your quit. You will be so happy and proud of yourself if you keep your quit.
Have a great time on your date. Just think... you won't have to smoke or smell like cigarettes!

take care,
HP

fell off the wagon

Hi Kaiser,
If it makes you feel any better....
The oranges on our tree (CA) are not all that tasty.
Our tree is an oldie.
I think the ones that are grown for sale are much bigger and flavorful!

Oranges are a great reward... keep those hands busy.
Enjoy!

Well here I am :)

Hi OWB,
Nice to meet you and welcome to the SSC!

If you are having a technical problem, you can click on "feedback" at the bottom of the page.
Perhaps someone there will be able to identify the issue for you. It's really fun to have the
quit meter going as it's such great positive reinforcement!

Sounds like you have a great attitude to quit. Isn't it such a relief to finally just quit it altogether
instead of torturing yourself with cutbacks???? It's a great freedom you have given yourself and wonderful
gift for your children.  There are others here who have quit for medical reasons and surgery.... the healing is so much faster without smoking!

Good luck! You are doing great so hang in there and keep us updated.
best,
HP
