Blew my quit 2

It's definitely easier to give in because the thought crosses my mind every hour. Every hour you hold out, the closer you are to quitting. I'm going on two weeks and it seems harder now than the first week but I seem to be able to get through every day so far without slipping (yet). Too bad a reward for not smoking could be having a cigarette? I know and I know better than that but it's just the day I'm having. Hang in there!!! Just checking in

Mondays seem to be the worst for me for some reason. Maybe I relax and get used to controlling the cravings on the weekend and then work stress hits you in the forehead and all i can think about it smoking.

two weeks tomorrow

No, but a reward of some sort would be nice. Golf during the work week would be nice but that's where I did a lot of smoking so I better find a new hobby. Maybe chess... two weeks tomorrow

My poor dog hasn't sat still since I started to quit. I guess it's good for both of us. Maybe I'll use the money I'm saving on cigs and roll it into a gym membership somewhere. Share your "WHY"...

Hi Pink, I quit because I enjoyed smoking too much. I'm not sure if that's the addition talking but smoking was something that was controlling my life more and more everyday in a world that doesn't allow me to smoke as freely as before. If I don't quit now, it's only going to get harder. In addition, I quit because $11 a pack is money that could be better spent elsewhere. I have to admit that I don't miss the nasty smell in my car and on my clothes either. I'm worry...

Maybe you can alter your calendar to show two day 14's and a day 16? That way day 15 no longer exists :)

Glad I found this.

I quit on 9/11/06 and have been doing ok.I have slipped up 3 times but still feel as though I'm on track. It took me 2 weeks to get involved with this and here I am. Hopefully this program will give me the last bit of motivation I need to become completely smoke free

two weeks tomorrow

This is the hardest thing I have ever tried to do. So far, so good but I'm not in the clear yet

Man, I was there every day and luckily I never ran out of gum. You'll make it next time.
