Encouraging!

Hopefully words that encourage you, as they do me. Your Good Fortune Every single moment is a blessing. Every day is a precious gift. No sparkling piece of jewelry, no expensive high-tech gadget, no financial wealth can possibly match the value of waking up to a new day that is filled with possibilities. How will you celebrate your good fortune today? What use will you make of the opportunities which lie open and exposed right in front of you? This moment is an empty canvas and you are an artist of extraordinary ability. What masterpiece will you create this time? The little troubles and inconveniences have no right to hold you down. They're nothing compared to the good things you have. Those who merely endure this day are throwing away a magnificent opportunity that will never come again. What a sad and tragic mistake. Open the gift that is this moment and use it for all you can. Make it a great day! -------------------------------------------------------- Thought of the day Winners have simply formed the habit of doing things losers don't like to do. -Albert Gray My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 80 Amount Saved: $14.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 14 Mins: 7 Seconds: 14

This post is for anyone who is thinking about starting back.

Thanks for the bump. I had never read this since I've been on the site the past week. I came here looking for encouragement today because I was worried of picking up a cigarette, having a weak moment. Instead, I found this post and it touched my heart and soul. I went from cravings to crying in a matter of minutes. God Bless Joe for his determination, strength and for passing along his story. I consider this man a hero because even after he's gone he's still helping save lives. God Bless those who keep this post bumped, it just helped me through a rough time. Thank you Joe! For those dippers out there

A friend of mine found some great tobaccoless dip made of Mint leaves by googling "tobaccoless dip" I know one brand was called "Mint Snuff" and there was one or 2 more he was talking about. In any case, he thought it was great and it's worked for him for months now. Just thought I'd share that info with those who hadn't thought about it. Hope it helps and good luck! Should I reset my stats?

Last night I found out my 16 year old daughter was pregnant. I grabbed my husband's cigarettes during the extremely stressful time and lit it took a half of a puff, realized what I was doing and handed it to him and walked away. My question is, since I did have nicotene should I reset my stats? I mean it was minimal but I feel like I've cheated.
