Problems sleeping and strange dreams

:confuse:Hello everyone!! I have not smoked for 11 days and I feel great about that. I have my moments but not as often as I thought I would or as bad. The only thing is I am having trouble sleeping and when I do I am having stupid dreams. At first the dreams were of smoking not me but everyone else was, thank god I dream like that anymore it was really getting on my nerves. Now its just stupid dreams that do not make sense. Does anyone know how long this will last? Lack of sleep makes you grumpy, sensitive and too darn emotional. Any suggestions or encouragement would be great. I know I have not quit as long as most of you but I am determined to beat this. :)

Another dream

Hi I am Jersy and have not smoked for 11 days now. I know what you mean about weird dreams. I was dreaming about cig too and everyone in my dream was smoking all the time, I was not though it was driving me nuts. The dream I had about smoking I was walking to my car and then all of a sudden I was sitting in the back seat holding a cig and it just lit up by itself it was weird then my husband was there looking at me with disappointment and I was yelling I swear I did not light it and I have not even taken a puff. He just stood there shaking his head. When I woke up I was furious and I wanted to wake up my husband and say I wear I was not smoking. Thank god I do not dream about cig I just have stupid dreams now, dreams that make no sense. I know what you are all going through and man it sucks. Take care all of you Stay Smoke Free ;)

Congrats Kayla!!!!!!! I know what you mean about not sleeping. I am still going through that. Everyone needs support no matter how many days they are smoke free. If it was easy to quit we would have all done it a long time ago. Keep up the great work. Take care Stay Smoke Free!!!!!!!!! Jersy :)

Mom died

Sorry to hear about your loss Greg. I know how you feel, I lost my dad to lung cancer. He died at home and the suffering was unbearable. You would think that would have made me quit but after he died I lost myself and it took me a year to pull myself up and go on. Thank god for my husband and two children. I wanted to quit once my life was back on track and tried twice but failed. Here I am again and darn it I am going to succeed this time. Well that is my goal and its one day at a time. Take care Stay Smoke Free Jersy

Dreams

I am on my 6th week of step 1 of Habitrol and the dreams had been quiet but last night I was dreaming of smokes and the calendar. Someone or something was arguing with me about how long I have been smoke free. I was saying that I was on my sixth renewal of step 1 and they were saying it does not count its the days that count. I do not know what to make of it, it was weird and I could see my calendar on my fridge, I make x's through the days that I finish but in my dream it was smokes not x's. What the devil is going on? GAS and more GAS

Hello everyone!!!!!!!!! I have a question to ask that is a little embarrasing but I will ask it anyway. Does anyone have gas problems?????????????? I am on 17 days today and the not sleeping and strange dreams and waking up in the middle of the night smelling cigs is one thing but gas is another. What the heck is going on guys? Is this a side effect from the patch? This has been going on since my first week of my quit. I am reaching out because believe me no one is reaching out to me lately  if you know what I mean. Any advice would be great. Jersy Stay smoke free
