Julie,
Your co-workers are right- don't give up your quit because of one lousy person. And remember, even if you smoke this person will remain as annoying as always! 87 days is HUGE, do all you can to protect it! Breaking some dishes sounds like a fine way to vent. Please keep us posted!! Hang in there.

Kat,
I found that the physical withdrawal from nicotine was not nearly as bad as the psychological withdrawal, but trust me it does get better. A few days ago I sat down to eat lunch and realized I hadn't thought about smoking yet that day (then I thought about it for the rest of the day!!). Cravings can be annoying but please remember, they will pass wether you smoke or not- let's make it NOT!
Hang in there and keep us posted

As a relative newbie here I would like to know the timeline for special landmarks relating to this site. I know I get a "beach trip" at 100 days. At some point do I get to board the magic ship? Are there other special days I should know about (heaven forbid I miss a chance to celebrate!). Thanks for you help.

Yet another closet smoker here- can you believe we thought we could sneak around and not have people know we smoked?! I love having control of my life, my health, and my time.

Princess,
I myself found things got easier (note- easier not easy) in the third week. The cravings and triggers still happen but I feel better equipped to handle them. Remember, smoking is not an option. Keep up the good work!
