Thats great Bear. And now you won't scare them away with the flick of a lighter or the stink of the cigar smoke. And you can fondly, and clearly, remember in the morning the peace of watching the wildbirds feeding at their new home. (I like to watch the hummingbirds myself, although I really miss those huge squirrels I used to watch in Southern Ontario. They could carry away a small child LOL) Happy Birdwatching! Hope you enjoy. Hey Bear! I hope you are doing better today. I was worried about you after one of your posts yesterday - had a feeling you were going where you went, you could say. Anyway, you can beat both if you want to, but you have to really want to. I'm really glad you didn't smoke though :) That's a great step forward. Remember we are here and I have faith in you.. I'm back again.....

Hey Jaws and Changing I too have some a few pounds since starting the quit. I am an extreamly self-conscience person to begin with, so the weight gain has gotten to me pretty bad at times. All I can say is, stick with it. You can only do so much on your own and it's better to tackle one thing and succeed, than to tackle two and fail. You will be able to lose the weight, just like you were able to quit smoking. You just need to stick with it and know that it's going to get better. And when you are able to stand up to the scales and face that demon, you will be a success there as well. I dont know about you Bear, but I have one. And it is hard to stay away from things that may become an addiction. Just take it one day at a time and try to still have fun. Glad to hear you are behaving today. Keep aware of your quit :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 42 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,066 Amount Saved: $346.5 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 0 Mins: 51 Seconds: 8

Who are the Febuary 07 Quitters?

As a woman who has gone through a terrifing pregnany experience without the love and support of family I can only tell you how much yours means to your daughter. I myself will never go through it again, and her willingness to try again shows what positive influence you have made. I second Changing - She is so lucky to have you in her life, and so are we. Stay stong, we are all here for you. Who are the Febuary 07 Quitters?

Hey everyone. Just checkin in. Hope you are all enjoying a beautiful, smoke free, weekend. The weather is so beautiful here, I was able to go outside and play with my daughter for a little while. I was actually able to try to teach her how to skip rope. And I didn't get out of breath or cough even once! What a great weekend it has beeen. Hard to believe the weather the last 2 weeks, eh. It's been unreal! Anyway, great going guys. Keep enjoying this smoke free life. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 66 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,666 Amount Saved: $544.5 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 17 Mins: 49 Seconds: 53

Who are the Febuary 07 Quitters?

Great idea, Changing. I have gotten the same impression from some of my quit buddies. What a great chance to let everyone know we are still here for each other. Who are the Febuary 07 Quitters?

I am so with you guys. This weight thing has gotten me really down sometimes. I just really hate to admit it...then there is a problem right. :) But I have been skinny up until recently and I don't know how to diet or how to make myself exercise each day. There are just too many other things that need to be done, you know. But I really need to do something, I feel so horrible about myself that it's starting to affect me in too many ways. And smoking is really the least of them.
