hey bear.....i know what you mean. Mostly because this is something I would not allow my kids to do. To interact and form friendships online, its dangerous out there. However, I find this pertty comforting too.
I had given up on people before I came here and asked for help to quit smoking. And strangers, people I didn't know and will probably never meet, have done everything to help me. (And I didn't think that people cared anymore.) Anyway Thanks for that.

You know full well you don't need any help getting into trouble. LOL Glad your having such a great day today! Remember this feeling and carry it with you into the upcoming days. Stay strong Bear.
oh...and just to let you know my opinion on the patch. It does seem most people need the full 10 weeks or whatever, but for me, I used it 2 days and have been completely free since. I told myself it wasn't working and I was better off getting all the nic out of my system. (My hubby did the same, although he made it through out of spite - If I could do it, he could it) This may not work for most people, but it IS possible. Just please make sure you do whats best for you, and above all, DON'T SMOKE!

penguin said it right. you can do this, just remember to go one minute at a time....don't think about the future, just about each minute and hour you stay smoke free.
Use all the lessons you have learned throughout your journey and remember that your goal is acheviable. You can do this, because you are just as capable as anyone else here. (come on, lets face it, your probably [i]more[i] capable than some of us :))
So when you are ready, so are we :)
And for all you newbies......You've made the right choice. It's gonna be really hard, you know that, but you won't regret your smoke-free days for even one minute. Celebrate each and every minute you can - you deserve it and those memories (along with the SSC) will get you through the hard times.
