Wow Katy, your record is impressive.
How long did it take for you to get over the "I don't like myself" phase of quitting?
I have done just about everything I can today to try and get my mind off of a cigarette and absolutely nothing works.
I've cleaned house, cleaned the car, walked/jogged with the dog, went to the grocery, tried to watch a movie, talked to a neighbor (of course, who was smoking at the time), etc., etc.
Honestly, this obsession is making me nuts.
I don't want to feel sorry for myself. And, I really don't know what I want.
Thanks for you help! :quest:
I wish my town had one of those inside and out places. I think that's pretty cool that you did that for yourself. Have always dreamed of that nice fresh look and smell in my car. Especially since my job keeps me in the car most of the day.
You have inspired me to go work on my a little bit. :)
Stubborn,
I have cleaned and cleaned and cleaned like a mad dog.
Getting ready to drag my dog for a 1/2 mile hike. Have a lot of nervous energy. I'm not into exercise at all but I think it'll be good for me since I have been eating every thing in sight the last few days.
thanks jnine,
have been cleaning like crazy. I can't stop shaking. Have never experienced withdrawal before. Does it really get better after HELL week?
Just about at my wits end here! I feel possessed most of the time.

I had a slip last night too. Wasn't due to drinking though. My mother called, the walls came closing in, and I did it.
The second I lit up, I felt like such a failure. My dog even looked at me like "stupid!"

Thanks!
I made it past the 24 hour mark, even the 48 hour mark, but last night I screwed up at 7 p.m. Finding it real hard to remember reasons why I quit.

Good morning to all. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Stayed in bed late today. Not sleeping of course - can't do much of that. I filled in info but haven't done a journal. Will check that out. Thanks again! ;p
