Hello everyone�.I had a really nice normal reply ready a while ago, went to hit the reply button and my pc threw up��..either this sickness is catching or my pc doesn�t like me when I�m normal anymore. Now that we�ve got medical help onboard I�m not even going to try to stay sane lol, (Nurse29�I gave you wine and chocolate and a really nice welcome but my computer drank and ate them when it got sick) as we now have a professional who can get us the mental health we might need. This ship is just rocking and rolling today! Whew, lots of action happening. Day 1...again

Welcome Nurse29! Congratulations on your decision to quit. Yippeeee, we're so glad you are here!!!! Your MomMom is special to us, but we have tons of room for you in our hearts too and every person's quit is their very own so we'll be here for both of you plus your husband should he decide to join us in our journey. :) :) In case no one has told you yet, head straight to your program tools on the left and start getting prepared for your journey to the Land of Quit. The freedom there is so worth the time and effort it takes to get there. We all look forward to seeing our quit meters and how far we've come each and every day. My best advice is to READ...you're a nurse so you know that knowledge replaces fear and education is the key to knowing where and when and how to place the medicine and do the therapy for a sucessful recovery. Just when you think you understand it all...read it again and again to reinforce it and to prevent active flare ups...this addiction will go into remission and as soon as we think we've got it beat, it will sneak out of nowhere and pounce on us again. Your allergies were probably masked by the chemical reaction our bodies can have to smoking and are not made any better whatsoever by putting poision into your lungs...that's just the insiduous nature of this life-killing addiction...it lies to us at every turn and pretends to be everything it is not. See your doctor...he will know how to really make your allergies feel better. Ok...your Mom has some friends here who JUST LOVE TO HAVE FUN while we kick some major ash around here!!!
