Bubba,
Do you remember me from 4 years ago. I had the bad infection in my jaw bone that was eating the bone away? Everything is fine now. I went through all that and a deep depression a couple years ago and didn't some. So I don't understand why I started last year. I am so embarrased

Hi Charlene
Another Chantix quitter here. I don't know about you but I feel like I want to have a cigarette but that I don't really need it.
does that make sense .

you can always try chantix. There are a few people including me on it. I work in a pharmacy and have got nothing but good feedback.
You smoke for the first week while taking it. Some insurances pay for it also the Dr has coupons for $10.00 off but sometines you have to ask.It is worth a try.
jnine :)
mrmagic,
When you smoke with chantix you keep a log of when you smoke and why you smoked, who you were with. Chantix also has a support not as good as this one but they do have some stuff. Right now I am using both.
Its to bad ins wouldn't help pay for your prescription but think of it this way you would have spent it on cigaretts anyway.

write yourself a note to remind yourself of how bad you were coughing and everytime you want to pick up a cigarette read it. I am only on day 2 but it helps.

suzee,
Take the journey to the left and find out why you smoke and when you most often smoke. People here are really great. I'm not much of a talker but I do answer some posts. Good luck and you can do this.
