the reasons i slipped was for a few reasons. my car broke down no biggie for some but i live in an area with no bus route so i'm grounded. my son was coming for the week-end, another no biggie except this was the fourth time we spent time together in the least 32 years, see he was adopted we just found each other 3 years ago. my boyfriend left town friday. he'll be gone for 3 months another no biggie except we just got back together after being apart for 21 years role it all together and it becomes a biggie. the cigs didn't change anything, except my chest hurts so i'm done again. You are doing the right thing. Pick yourself up, brush yourself off and start again. N.O.P.E. (not one puff ever) is the only way to quit! 77 days is really a great achievement. So you know you can do this. I have done what you did many times. Every time I let my addiction justify it. The last time I did it, I said "ENOUGH". Why do you continue to punish yourself this way!!!! At that moment I sat down and started writing about how I felt about failing yet again. It is all about addiction, and the inability to control it. So gues what.... I AM IN CONTROL NOW. Life throws us many disappointments, but of all those listed the one you didn't list is probably the one that hurt the most - you smoked. It hurts to do that, and I for one am not going to hurt myself anymore. Just my thoughts. You can do this. Believe in yourself. Smoking does nothing for you.
