Hi everyone, I'm new

Thanks everyone for your support. I think the friday thing is just habit, because everytime i have quit regardless of if i want to go out or not the urge to smoke gets really bad. and my work week doesn't even end on friday, i don't work monday thru friday. I really am not to worried about it this weekend but we will see when friday comes! Thanks everyone for your support. Oh and by the way lucky is one of my pet's name i thought it was going to be my password, don't worry i know quitting has nothing to do with luck. I made it thru day 3

I made it thru day 3. It was actually pretty easy, i didn't experience much physical withdraws at all. Just my mind playing tricks on me. I keep saying to myself what did i quit for, i can still smoke until we decide to get pregnant and on and on and on. I then talk myself into staying smoke free, it is hard but i will make it. 2007 Weight Loss Support Group

Hi everybody, I am joining this thread too. I have only been a nonsmoker for 8 days but i can feel my pants getting tight and i hate it. I am guessing i am around 155-160, not quite sure but my goal is 135. I am gonna start running tomorrow (try anyways). Good luck to everyone My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 178 Amount Saved: $28 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 14 Mins: 8 Seconds: 35

I made it thru hell week

I am on day 7 and it isn't nearly as bad as i thought it would be. I really want to thank everyone at this site, u have helped out so much! I still get cravings but they go away pretty quick. I still have the nicotine talking to me in my head saying "why are you quitting, you can smoke every now and then and how much i miss it" but i just keep coming back to this site and i realize that one cigarette isn't worth it. Anyways thank you everyone for helping me thru it. Sarah

New and need help quiting

this site is so helpful when quitting. I would have to say this has been the easiest quit i have ever done. The first couple days were really hard but after the first couple it is sooo much easier. Just keep posting and you will have the motivation. I made it thru day 3

Hi everyone!! I haven't planned my 7 day reward, i plan on going to the movies and out to dinner this weekend for my birthday but i am also going to count it as my reward. To fight off the cravings i have been taking my dogs for lots of walks. It has probably been the easiest quit i have ever done. The first couple days were really hard but today has been really easy. i also drank alot of fruit juice which seemed to help. Good luck to everyone.
