The Demon is tricky

Great post freemom I still have a lot of hard cravings since i'm only 20 days into my quit, but I enjoy the freedom of being free from having to worry about when and where I can have a smoke makes life so much easier :) Its still hard for me to drive by a gastation because I still have that nic demon in the back of my head saying that having one smoke wont do you any harm type of thinking. But as we all know just having one puff can lead you to becoming a full time smoker again which I never wont to be. I know its a real real hard journey for me down the road but i'm ready to fight the nic demon with everything I got when ever he comes into my mind :) Best of wishes to all of you in staying smoke free My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 20 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 100 Amount Saved: $28.75 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 4 Mins: 32 Seconds: 47

doctor visit?

Hey guys the tightness in my chest is really starting to bother me latley, it actually got so bad that the feeling woke me up in the middle of the night last night. I'm still not sure if this tight feeling in my chest is something I should be worried about but its been bothering me for like 3 days or so. Just that everytime I breathe it feels real heavy and tight pretty much best way I can describe it. Would u guys recomend seeing a doctor about this now or waiting for a few days and see if it gets better since it also could just be my body system getting over not having any nicotine for a long time? Also has anyone else had this problem and if so how long did it last after you quit smoking, and did you see a doctor for it? doctor visit?

Well I went to the doctor yesterday and the good thing he said their was nothing he could find wrong with me and that everything looked fine :) He did say however that the breathing problems is probally just my lungs clearing out and some anxiety stuff having to do with not smoking. But he said it should go away but if it doesnt go back and he will give me something to help. But glad its not cancer or any other disease that wouldve not been good to hear so early in my quit...
