Tired

I care Riverdale Man, i just dont know what to say :( I felt the same yesterday so much that i could actually taste it and it tasted all so good. I vowed to myself that i would NEVER EVER pick up a cigarette again. Not One Puff Ever (N.O.P.E) You are 1 cig from a pack a day Better to be a non-smoker with the occasional desire for a cig, than a smoker with a constant desire to quit... PrincessC x

Just How Many Cancer Sticks Did You Use to Smoke Each Day

Im 34, i started smoking at the age of 20. My bestfriend, my cousin and my sister were all smokers I thought they were so cool and off course....i just wanted to fit in. I remember the first drag i ever had... it was disgusting but i still lit another one. I never really had much money to buy cigarettes back then so i didnt really smoke more than 5 a day. I gave up for 3 years, i hated the smell, the taste, everything about it. I really really hated it - i was adicted. I knew i could give up, in total i would have smoked around 1 pack in january. I was on vacation. I dont remember much about the morning of my quit except that i knew my quit was close.... real close. I had bought a pack the night before and didnt smoke until after i had showered and was ready for work. My second smoke the day i quit was as i was driving into the parking lot at work. That was it. I handed my pack to a fellow non smoker workmate and said no matter what.... NO MATTER what, just dont give them to me. I was a mess lol. Maybe not a good time to quit when you are at work haha :) I ranted, raved kicked screamed, sweated, begged & pleaded. He said sure here have a smoke. I would say no its ok, i dont want one. I knew this was it. This is my second chance at life. The way i see it, i was at a fork in the road..... i chose the road less travelled and here i am today. 24 DAYS WOOOOOO HOOOOO. I am so proud of me. :) PrincessC :) x My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 557 Amount Saved: $244.8 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 22 Mins: 48 Seconds: 1

Did Anyone Else Have Really Bad Physical Withdrawal Symptoms???

Someone asked me if in the early days of my quit i got tired. Yes i did, but i took it as my bodys way of healing. I was also very jittery, talked really fast and about stupid things (hmm) was also very clingy lol. :p PrincessC :) x My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 557 Amount Saved: $244.8 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 22 Mins: 45 Seconds: 46

What Do You Wnat to Do With The Money You're Saving?

I will save around $280 a month. I used to procrastinate about how i never had enough money to do anything .. ... .... all going up in smoke!! I have not eaten as healthy as i have in a long time, exersized or just really pampered myself. They are reward enough for me - and free!! The bigger ones well........ see my family for christmas for the first time in 4 years and a couple of other big trips planned. For the time being tho im concentrating on the little rewards that are needed right now like the dvd, movie smaller things like that. :) PrincessC x My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 553 Amount Saved: $244.8 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 22 Mins: 27 Seconds: 54

smoking sucks

Hey Zac, Have a chat with some of the other members about quitting while drinking. I dont drink so i dont know how you are feeling - sorry. i also dont have a partner that smokes either so not sure how to tackle that one either but there have been a few posts in regards to this over the past week which may be of help. I will say however, off course your girlfriend is going to keep giving them to you. She is a smoker, she doesnt want to be left out in the cold!! (thats my point of view) YOU have to want the quit Zac. There is plenty of support here if you need it.
