I also read the book and although I do not agree 100% with his assessments, it was very helpful. It really made a difference in not feeling deprived and knowing that I was doing something positive. I would recommend it to anyone struggling with themselves about quitting. I am very sorry to hear about his diagnosis though and I hope he will be ok. Very scary since he quit 20 years ago. I don't think I will ever feel safe from the big C.

HI JACKO, IM NEW HERE, AM JUST LEARNING HOW TO GET IN HERE TO WRITE TO EVERYONE.GLAD TO SEE YOUR BACK AGAIN, I HAVE TRIED MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS TO QUIT. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I FEEL LIKE I HAVE TAKEN OVER THE DEMON THAT IS DESTROYING MY LIFE. MY CRAVINGS ARE FAR AND IN BETWEEN. I FEEL BETTER THAN I EVER HAVE AND I AM ONLY ON DAY THREE TODAY.I STARTED OUT WITH THE PATCH AND IT WOULDNT STAY STUCK ON SO I SAID IT MUST BE A SIGN FROM ABOVE. SO NOW I AM NOT USING THE PATCH. I KNOW IT REALLY IS BETTER AS IT WILL TAKE ONLY 3 DAYS INSTEAD OF MONTHS TO GET THE NICOTINE OUT. SO GLAD YOUR BACK AND KNOW YOU WILL MASTER IT THIS TIME!
