Hi mookie,
I was terrified of gaining wieght when I quit, so the very next day after my quit I started to walk around my block before I shower to go to work, it is very early and I seem to be out all by my self, but guess what I weigh 1 lb. less today then the day I quit, Try walking it works.

Lady GREAT post I think this is the best thing I have ever done for myself and for my family, yes at times it has been a little rough, but any thing is better than giving in to being a smoker and throwing your life away... I am up for the party and thanks for the post.

Hi meagan, I have tried the patch I felt like I was still smoking and when I came off the patch I started to smoke again. Then I went to wellbutren but had a major reaction to it (not everyone can take it) that was my 2nd fail @ not smoking. This time I went cold turkey and seem to be doing much better, maybe because this time I have no intensions of ever smoking again.
What ever works for you is the important thing just keep thinking NOPE
