Yes, Dave...........seems to be not too common but, definitly one of the more " obvious " signs that U are a quitter. LOL Maybe a result of suckin' in all that hot air for so many years. It had to go somewhere. LOL

Hello Jer and welcome. I am a registered nurse, have smoked for 36 years and both my Mother and Mother-in-Law died premature deaths as a result of smoking related diseases. I have worked with many people in respiratory care units and have witnesses the fear , anguish, guilt and sorrow of patients, friends and family. We humans are slow learners, not learning from others' mistakes more times than not. You know the situation here as U said U have traveled this way before. Having said all of this..........and not being under the illusion that this is a very serious , life threatening addiction.........it would be very refreshing to see and hear a little bit of levity .............sharing stories of desperatly searching for a "long" butt left in the ashtray, buying a pack, smoking one and then ceremoniously breaking them all in half and throwing them away only to wake up the next morning thinking about digging those butts out of the trash. Cheers, Pat
