THE VIP CLUB

Hi y'all! I hope everyone is doing well. Things have been a little crazy and I've not been able to be on the site as much. A big welcome to the March '05 quitters and Congratulations! I just wanted to check in... Not smoking is actually feeling verrrrry comfortable now... just in time for this gorgeous weather. Buttercups blooming, 70 and sunny deep in the heart of dixie... "Ain't life grand?" :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 397 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,953 Amount Saved: $1417.29 Life Gained: Days: 42 Hrs: 2 Mins: 37 Seconds: 43

Hall Of Fame Recipient for March, 2006

Nan, I was so very pleased to see you had gotten this recognition. You've worked hard for it and I'm so proud for you. You've smoked longer than most of us here and I think I speak for so many when I say that you given us all hope and confidence that it can be done....no matter how long you smoked...at any age. I hope you're feeling better these days. Enjoy your reward...You deserve it :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 397 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,953 Amount Saved: $1417.29 Life Gained: Days: 42 Hrs: 2 Mins: 36 Seconds: 20

This Is Me, Thanking All Of You!

redrosie... I'm not sure why it happens either but when you get your degree... Dr. redrosie PhD... let us know lol One thing I do know for sure, those mental tricks come and go for a little while...so when one pops up... just hang on. It usually goes on by. I rarely have times like that now. You're doing such a great job...almost halfway to the beach. You'll love it there, everyone looks awesome in their cyber swimwear ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 380 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,615 Amount Saved: $1356.6 Life Gained: Days: 40 Hrs: 7 Mins: 34 Seconds: 37

Glad you made it through that crave...and now you have officially exceeded all your previous quits, right? Keep that in mind when the next time comes :) Great job and be prepared for next week! A smoke for spite

Awww...Rusty. I've been reading your posts for a year now. I don't know you face to face but I do know how wise and level-headed you've been and what a strong and dedicated quit you have. I feel sure this "episode" hasn't endangered your quit but instead, woke you up to something you haven't anticipated until now. This probably shakes up some people since you're a long time, faithful quitter here at the SSC. I know I stopped dead in my tracks when I started reading!.. but there's no law saying you had to tell us anything at all. I'm confident you learned something from it and we can learn from it too. Thank you for sharing that. You're a strong woman and I know you're going to be just fine. Now... Put on those walkin' shoes! That's an EXTRA two hours of Leslie for you young lady! :eg: My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 380 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,614 Amount Saved: $1356.6 Life Gained: Days: 40 Hrs: 7 Mins: 31 Seconds: 25

Calling all February '06 Quitters!!!!

Another big February group! I hope you don't mind that I peek in. I feel a connection with you all since you're exactly where I was one year ago. I'm with the group from last February (UNSMOKEABLES). Looks like February '07 is gonna be one HUGE celebration! Although it may not feel like it right now, time really does pass quickly. A year will go by before you know it. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and we'll all be "in heaven in 07". Congrats to each of you for a never-regrettable decision to kick your addiction to the curb :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 380 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,616 Amount Saved: $1356.6 Life Gained: Days: 40 Hrs: 7 Mins: 45 Seconds: 26

40 days continued

LG, Congratulations on making it 35 days on your own...and the rest of your quit with the SSC! It truly does make a difference. Most of us have been through this stuff so don't feel like "being a downer" should keep you from posting. We can relate and we're glad to have you along... Besides, who else can we talk with about such fashion as rhinestones on granny panties? (that visual still cracks me up) :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 381 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,629 Amount Saved: $1360.17 Life Gained: Days: 40 Hrs: 9 Mins: 22 Seconds: 9
