Sounds like whoever taught me mindfulness taught me wrong cos they said it's to trick your brain into thinking everything is alright but when I go and face something challenging my brain automatically goes right back to thinking it's not alright.
For a long time I've been afraid to walk far from a comfort zone in fear of an anxiety attack. I just got back on Monday night from a trip to Quebec City. I walked everywhere in Quebec City. I was very happy with myself and I loved the holiday there.
I remember you writing about this when I lived out in AZ. It's always confused me so can you clarify. You state exposure therapy is flawed. I see that myself. Yet the programme here uses exposure therapy. I remember you also stating small steps in exposure therapy work. Could you please clarify for me?
Alright so what do you recommend for a cure for anxiety? You stated exposure therapy is out. It sounds like you're for CBT for a cure for anxiety. CBT or CBT mindfulness? What do you think of DBT and ACT for a cure?
