Overcome

How do you overcome repetitive thoughts of a bully who refuses to show any remorse for bullying you? I have forgiven them in my heart. I have apologised to their family if I caused them any anger (I can't see how or why). The bully askedf for my help (addiction issues) and I said I could refer them to a professional. 2 weeks later the bully's parents and the bully denied they had a problem and ever since then for years now they have been very hostile to me, denying things, etc. Denial is their own issue but it has for years come to the point of me being blamed. In fact, when my mum had to take the bully to hospital the mum of the bully was argueing with the toxicologist. They have never once apologised for anything they put me through even though I stopped trying to help a long time ago. I forgave them. Then last year when I thought everything was going swimmingly, and we went to the mum's birthday party, the bully was dancing with me and asking me for medical advice of a different medical issue of hers. She told me her plans for the future, and seemed very kind and we had 1:1 time as well. Then this year, I tried to compliment her and got a response of "my mum told you never to speak to me again!" I forgive them. I figure there is mental health issues and denial here. I apologised if I did anything wrong. But I want to let it go. Also, I have no more contact with this family.

Overcome

Oh trust me I definitely have cut ties. I realise their denial and blaming things on me (even after they asked us to take their daughter to hsopital) lies in fear. They are out of my life.

Overcome

Thanks and I cut ties. It's just my ego often brings up the situation over and over. Yes, they have significant mental health issues, addiction being one of them and a personality disorder. I just want my ego to realise these people are bat shhh crazy (cos you'd have to be to think it's ok to let a teenager have sex, drugs, and drink with grown adults) and I don't need an apology from them. My ego needs to learn they are out of my life and an apology is completely unimportant.

Really Dark Nightmares

Does anyone here also get really dark  dreams? They scare me. Like I had a terrible nightmare of a serial killer. I also had a nightmare of a serial killer masterbating over the head of their victim (there was a serial killer who did this). I was luckily able to wake up. I'm sure this was cos I was watching some videos on psychopaths and serial killers as I was on youtube. Why I was watching is cos I want to become a brain researcher I hope we can find a cure for these evil nutjobs. I need to stop watching anything violent documentaries, R movies, etc it isn't good for the brain. That's probably what did it.
Anyone else here get super terrifying nightmares?
I guess my post is more about the fact I should sell all of my horror movie DVDs and if I end up on the wrong side of youtube just type in The Ellen Show cos then I get nice dreams.
Remember these are nightmares I had when I was sleeping.

Stepping Outdoors Boosts Self-Esteem and Mood

Of course it can. It has been proven we need to be around and in nature.

rough from the start

First you did amazing for sticking through that meeting and for staying at work! Have you considered hypnosis, vitamins, medication, trauma release exercises?
