kinds having a crappy night

Selena, I really understand your situation, i too have 2 small children, and that alone is hard to handle. I learned that you have to be kind to yourself, when I feel anxious, I read, listen to music or surf the net.  Anxiety is really hard to keep control of, but it is possible, kinda brain reprograming. Hope you can get some relief.     jaybe

here we go again!

just ducky,   Hi I think i can understand where you are coming from, I am mostly pacic free, until I start to get anxious about something, for me ,I have to move within the next couple months so I have had more panic attacks now than ever, I think whats important  is that You don't make a decision based on anxiety. You need to be in a calm state , if possible to make major decisions.  Hope that helps and if you beleive in a higher power that helps too.  jaybe

Hello again!

Hi Darkblue1,   Way to be positive! I have been on this sight for a few months and see the difference in myself, but I guess curing anxiety is tough and we have to  constantly work on staying well, because we are prone to slipping back into our old selves. I admire your courage, with that thinking you can beat this again.  jaybe

Exposure for riding in elevators

no, elevators aren't too bad for me, maybe a  level 3.  My biggest fears  dentists, flying, standing in long lines and being outside when it's really hot out.   jaybe

Checking in!

summer is great. Love to be at the beach, I am sad that it will soon be over. I think the winter months are bad for me, because the cold keeps me inside and then I start to feel isolated.

Panic Free Since Aug. 25th 2010 Update From Shari

wow shari!  I felt minor affects from the earthquake, but not to that extent.  you are really brave. My house shook a little and a light swayed and that was enough to send me into a panic, that was really exposure therapy!  I an really nervous about hurricane Irene, I have been panic free for a couple months now, hope all goes well for the weekend    jaybe

Quote of the day

davit, that said so well, I have noticed the more I focus on t he panic, the more i tend to be depressed and seem to sit and wait for them, focusing on being mentally strong is tough, but it ends up being worth it.  I love reading your posts , they are so uplifting!  I am doing very well, still have anxiety moments, but no panic!     jaybe
