HELP...feeling really lousy

Hello Carlos, I'm also on Day 9 and using nicotine patches.  It's been a rough go, but if we've made it this far, there's no reason why we can't keep going.  Just think, wouldn't all this struggling be a waste if you light up now?   I'll put in the rest of the day if you will.

Daily Stats Parade

On Day 11 today! yippee!  I went a whole 2 hours yesterday without thinking about smoking, a new record for me.

What if?

Oh what the heck, I won't smoke today either then.

For some reason, it's all I can think about today.

Smoking Spouse

Hi Ashley

I'm on day 11 of my quit and my husband has continued to smoke.  I find I didn't even have to get him to hide the cigarettes because when I smell the stale smoke on his clothes it makes me want to gag! lol  That alone is a reason for me to keep going, I never realized how bad I must have smelled to other people.

We never smoked in the house, so that makes it easier because he has to go outside, out of my sight.  If he smoked inside, I don't think I'd ever be able to quit.  I'm hoping that if I'm successful with this quit, it may make him want to quit as well.  I find that now he is embarassed when he has a smoke and has to come near me because he knows how much it bothers me.

Not sure if this helps, but this is my experience with it.

What if?

I will not smoke today, or any day.  I want to smell the shampoo in my hair and soap on my hands. lol

Just One...

Hi all

Does anyone else find they're constantly battling that little voice in their head that says they can have just one??  I spent this past weekend trying to ignore it, but it seems that I'm constantly mulling this over in my mind.  I know this would be a huge set back, so I managed to get through it, but it's driving me batty!  I'm looking to hear from anybody that has managed to quit to see how long it takes before you stop thinking about it non-stop!  I'm on Day 15, which I know isn't long, but I can't wait until the morning I wake up and smoking isn't the first thought in my head!

My Mileage:

My Quit Date: 11/06/2012
Smoke-Free Days: 14
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 210
Amount Saved: $112.00
Life Gained:
Days: 1 Hrs: 2 Mins: 25 Seconds: 33
